7am Saturday morning we left for our 3 and a bit hour drive up to Moama. First interstate (just) shoot for My Dad's My Mate, so we were stoked for a bit of a road trip! We met Trent and Alan and they gave us a quick tour of the vineyard and we set up for our shot. My great friend Nicole Reed came along for the ride to lend Jaque and I a hand on the video camera and what a sterling job she did. After we shot the stills and our conversations interview, we went back to the main house where Trent's mum had put on a bit of a spread for lunch and i gotta say, there's nothing like a bit of home gown beetroot! Keep an eye out for the conversations clips arriving soon!
Today we launch My Dad's My Mate CONVERSATIONS!
So much help from some amazing and talented people, who I can't thank enough. Sorrel Hennessey, Peter Pham, Andrew Wood, Jaque Fisher & Tim O'keefe you are 5 complete legends that are helping me bring my little blog, that started 4 years ago, into a new realm. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
This is episode 1 of 5 of Rhys & Mark. We will be releasing the next 4 over the coming month. Hope you enjoy it! p.s. go tell your dad you love him.
So excited about launching My Dad's My Mate Conversations! Big thanks to Rhys and Mark for taking part in our pilot! Here's a little taste of what's to come...

Alfie came into the studio and felt at home straight away jumping on my skateboard. He had so much energy and, as you can see in the images, it's quite clear that he and Chris have a great connection. Alfie came into the studio with his superhero toys and left trying out his superhero moves on me. I'm still bruised. Ha. There were so many awesome shots of them both I had to make a little collage of the ones that didn't make the cut. Here they are...
